Why do you love Stargate Atlantis? Post your reasons here! Remember, no bashing. Start another thread if you want to go off on a rant.
Why I love Stargate Atlantis:
1. Because it's Stargate and that's reason enough. 2. Because Sheppard is not a Jack O'Neill clone. 3. Because there's always a chance Teyla might die. 4. I like the Ancients. 5. Who DOESN'T love McKay?

1. Shepherd is freakin hilarious but in his own way. (My favorite is his naming the Wriath. Steve and Bob. LOL!!!!!"
2. There's a Canadian, and an Irish dude, plus some guy from somewhere like Russia.
3. There's always the chance that one of the classic Stargate character might come in.
4. The Stargate plot intertwines with it well.

1. Dr. Weir's usually only in five minutes of the show.
2. Beckett will become a main character.
3. The guy who does Ford got a part from sending in a home made video tape to the producers.
4. Shepphard and McKay's relationship.
5. Beckett's "cowardly lion" like character.
6. McKay's obsession with coffee.
7. Despite the fact that Teyla's obviously mentally retarded, Weir and Shepphard still try to be nice and put up with her.

6. McKay's ever-present sense of impending doom.
7. The way Ford practically drools when he's talking about weapons.
8. The fact that sometimes you can't even tell what the hell Beckett is saying.
9. Weir has balls, admit it (check out the last episode of the season).
10. The way McKay and Zelenka practically read each other's minds.
11. McKay's video message back to Earth.
12. The fact that the Ancients, despite their technology, made some ugly-ass ships.

5. Science is almost always the end means of success.
6. So many "to be continued" episodes make you want to watch the next episode no matter how crappy the last one was. (I don't actually know if that's a good thing...)
