There are far too many topics on this board... I think many topics should be eliminated... And broader topics should be put on... Such as "Movies", "Music", or "Corpse Disposal 101". Also, I think that people should put more thought into their posts... Instead of wasting a post with a "Yes" or "no" answer, one should elaborate and restate the topic at hand... Therefore, people, including myself, will not have to read a whole bundle of pages to be caught up with the current posts.... Then when I do read the current post, it will be entertaining, to the point, and "begging" for a reply...

Well, I tell them to stop, but I'm not gonna be all forceful radical over here. Geez, if you want posts like that on your board, fine, but there is no board-wide law against posts like that, even though it is frowned upon? What am I gonna do, delete them? After I spent all that time begging them to come?

Ah, but JAG, perhaps the reason you have to beg them to come is because all these one-word posts are BORING. Who can reply to something like that? It's easier not to, so people don't.

If you delete the people who post one word then the people visiting will see that people actually post and if they see that then they might be more apt...? to join, i think.
apt is a word isnt it? i think i heard it somewhere.

Yeah, it's a word. And also, that all sounds like a good idea and what not, but, how are we going to enforce that? I have a plan.
If they post a one-word post, warn them saying "Next, it'll be deleted" If they do it, say, 5 times, warn them saying, "do it anymore, YOU will be deleted."
I'm pretty sure that will work.

Well, all I know is that they deleted themselves. And even though it's completely unrelated, the board lost about 2,000 posts that same night.
